100,000 hits! Thank You!

The kids helped us color. Ryder did the bottom, Ty the 1 on 100,000 and Boston the little character by the 1.

We made it to 100,000 pageviews.  Can you believe it?  We can't.  We are just over 1 full year into blogging.  It really feels like a mile stone.  So, in order to celebrate, we all got together.  For just a brief few hours.  Scary cooked some amazing food.  She also set up a little buffet style banana split bar.  Momma Shaffer took our picture, and vwallah, its a party.

We wanted to tell each of you how much we appreciate your support and friendship!  It means so much to us, when we post something and you comment.  We love your comments.  We have come to know you through those comments.  We have been touched by your kindness, envied your ability with words, and loved your hearts.

Do you know the line in "You've Got Mail" where Meg Ryan says, "All of this nothing has meant more to me than so many somethings?"   Well, today I was reading a blog post, from a blog we follow.  She mentioned that her and her husband had separated.  They have children and one on the way.  She doesn't personally know us.  But, I couldn't help to say a little prayer for her, and have my heart go out to what she and her husband must be going through.

Some of us live more privately and others of us share more publicly.  We are going to go through ups and downs.  Maybe marital problems.  Maybe death, we had two Grandpas die last year.  Maybe illness, Slim Jim champions panic disorder daily.  Maybe it will just be a burned pizza or a gallon of sour milk.  But we are probably going to share it.  As we live our lives openly on this blog, and share our testimonies, our families, and our love, we want you to know that we do love you.  We care to make a difference in your lives.  We want to make you smile.  We love being sisters, and as you comment, we begin to accept you as sisters as well.

This year our goal has been to share a little more truth and a little less fluff.  Stick around with us for another 100,000 and we will see where this blogging journey takes us.
